How are you feeling?

Throughout this period my practice manager Sakina has always said to me…

“Yes we are all in the same storm, but we are all in different boats”

I think we’ve all experienced both lows and highs in this situation.

I’ve found the business challenges both daunting and exhilarating.

Home schooling has been both frustrating and magical.

My family and friends, I miss them tremendously but I’ve learnt how much I need to value the physical time I spend with them.

I’ve worked remotely and in my own company but I’ve made more new friends and connections in the dental world in the last 8 weeks than I have in the past 15 years!

Thank you to my manager and friend, Sakina

I’d like to take this opportunity to publicly and sincerely thank my practice manager Sakina for the support and love she has shown me during this time. Whilst keeping our dental practice open virtually, being unable to involve my fabulous furloughed team, taking care of patients in pain remotely and home schooling my children has been tough.

On my bad days she has been my rock. I look forward to working with her and our team to deliver the best service we ever have.

Yes, the dentistry we deliver to you in the coming months will be the best we ever have…

…and I’m going to make sure its provided by an innovative and happy team so that you, our patients can have the dentistry you need in a safe and positive environment.

Above all I have learnt that mental wellbeing, happiness, the pursuit of it, the maintenance of it is the key to surviving this situation and we intend to deliver to our staff and patients with gusto.
