Everyone here at Chapel Street would like to wish you all the best for 2022 and thank you for your continued support of our local business.
The team have enjoyed a well earned rest with their families and friends after what has been another challenging year.
Last week we enjoyed helping patients with emergencies over the xmas period. It's satisfying work and got us out of the inevitable xmas excess we all all fall into! Our emergency cover is still in place if you need us and we look forward to opening as usual 4th January.
What are your resolutions this year?
Its well known that many New Years resolutions aren't kept beyond the first week of January, in fact that's probably why about 60% of people choose not to bother making them.
I must admit I'm a fan of resolutions, and why not? Why not set good intentions and be hopeful about them, even if you fail you're likely to have made some positive changes.
No, I'm not going to suggest your New Years Resolution should be flossing (although please feel free!). I think resolutions about attitude rather than specific actions are far more important.
A fantastic book is "Feel the fear and do it anyway" by Susan Jeffers speaks about conquering your fears and living your life fully. To live your life fully may seem like a vague resolution to some and will mean something different to all of us.
I just think its about waking up everyday and being kind to yourself and others in all your actions, and if that includes flossing those pearly whites then get on it people!...
